Most anticipated TV shows of 2016

I absolutely love TV. Specifically American TV shows. So in this blog post I thought that I would talk about my most anticipated TV shows of 2016. This post will contain spoilers. If you're reading this I'm sorry this is up early. I know its only September but I wanted to get this up.

The first TV show is Teen Wolf. Teen Wolf Season 5B, starts airing in January 2016. Teen Wolf 5A ended on a cliff hanger. In the mid season finale, we found out that Deputy Jordan Parrish was a hellhound. We found out that Theo Raeken was a chimera. Liam tried to kill Scott because he wouldn't bite Hayden, and Scotts heart stopped for 15 minutes, but Mama McCall, managed to start his heart again. (We love you Mama McCall). Hayden ended up dying. And at the end of the episode Theo was resurrecting the dead chimeras, which includes Hayden. I love Teen Wolf, and I cannot wait to see what happens in 5B.

Another TV show that I cannot wait for is Pretty Little Liars. In January Season 6B of PLL will start airing. The mid season finale of PLL also ended on a cliffhanger. We finally found out who "A" was. A lot of people were conflicted about the finale, but in my opinion it was amazing. I loved learning more about "A's" story and how Charles became CeCe, and how CeCe became "A". Near the end of the episode we saw the girls saying goodbye to each other as they want off to college. I cried when Spencer called Hanna "Hanna banana". Then we saw the start of the 5 year time jump. Alison is now a teacher and is married. As Alison is writing her name on the board, the other girls come in saying that "he is coming" and that its too late because "he is already here". Who is this "he" that they are talking about? I can't wait to find out, but we know that someone is after Alison.

The next TV show is brand new, and starts in 2016. The show is called Shadowhunters. This is a TV show based on The Mortal Instruments books by Cassandra Clare. I love The Mortal Instruments, so I can't wait for this TV show. Some of the people starring in it include Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Matthew Daddario, the guy who plays King Henry in Reign (I can't remember his name). I cannot wait for this TV show.

Another brand new TV show that I cannot wait for is Legends of Tomorrow. This is a spin-off from Arrow and The Flash, which I love. So I know I will love Legends of Tomorrow. It stars Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heatwave (Dominic Purcell), a newly resurrected Sara Lance a.k.a White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl, one half of Firestorm (I can't remember his name). I seriously cannot wait until this TV show starts.

The final TV show is also brand new. It is Fuller House. This show is a spin-off from the 80's show Full House. I loved Full House and I can't wait for Fuller House to start.
This concludes this post. There are other shows that I cannot wait to start, e.g. Arrow, The Flash, Reign, American Horror Story, Doctor Who and many more. But these other shows that I am anticipating start in September and October.

Thanks for reading

Book Wrap-Up April 2015

So last month I did a wrap-up post where I talked about the books that I read in March, so I thought I would do one again for April. In April I didn't read as many books as I did in March, but I still read quite a few. I read a total of 9 books in April.

The first two books were both graphic novels. I read both of these on the same day, and it took me about half an hour to finish each book, so an hour in total for the two. The graphic novels are Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes volume 1 and 2. I remember reading volume 1 ages ago, but I couldn't remember what happened, so I reread the first one and then read the second one. Both graphic novels were quite good however I hated the ending. But apart from the ending they were okay.

The next three books that I read were rereads. I ended up rereading the first three books in the Twilight Saga. I absolutely love the Twilight books, so I decided to start rereading them. I will have to reread Breaking Dawn and the Short Second Life of Bree Tanner sometime too. Anyway out of Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, New Moon is my favourite and Eclipse is my least favourite. But I still love it, and Stephenie Meyer is one of my all time favourite authors.

The next three books that I read were a series. I read The Infernal Devices Trilogy by Cassandra Clare. This trilogy consists of Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess. All three of these books are amazing. The trilogy is set in Victorian times, and is the prequel series to The Mortal Instruments series. My favourite characters are Jem Carstairs, Will Herondale and Tessa Gray, and I really enjoyed the love triangle between these characters. Jem Carstairs is my main favourite character in the whole trilogy, he is just amazing and I love him. I LOVE JEM CARSTAIRS!!

And the final book that I read this month was the first book in a series, and it is the only one in the series that I actually own. I read Darkly Dreaming Dexter, which is the first book in the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay. I enjoyed the book and it was a quick easy read, however I preferred the actual TV show to the book. But I will still eventually get the other books in the series. There are 7 books in the series out already an I own one, and the eighth in the series is out sometime this year.

So this concludes my April wrap-up post. If you are reading this I hope you enjoyed, and I will probably do another wrap-up post next month.

Book Wrap Up March 2015

Normally every month I would do a monthly favourites post but I thought that I would stop doing those posts because I am kind of getting bored of them and I don't think many people are reading them.

Anyway instead of a monthly favourites I thought that I would do a post where I talk briefly about all of the books that I read that month. So I am going to start with March.
I know this post is a bit late as we are already 5 days into April but oh well. Anyway in March I read a total of 13 books.

The first two books that I read was Catching Fire and Mockingjay, the last two books in The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins. I know I am very late reading these and I had actually seen all of the films that are out so far before I read the books. So I kind of knew what was going to happen. Anyway I read the first book in February, and I read the last two in March. Both of these books are absolutely amazing. My favourite character in the whole trilogy is introduced in Catching Fire ( Finnick Odair). I absolutely love his character and Finnick is absolutely amazing and I love him so much, and Sam Claflin does an amazing job of portraying Finnick in the films. I also cried so much near the end of Mockingjay, and I know that I will end up crying at the end of Mockingjay part 2 when I watch it. These books are very well written and I love Suzanne Collins writing in these books. This series has made me want to read more of her books. Catching Fire is definitely my favourite of the whole trilogy.

The next book that I read was The Book of Lies by Mary Horlock. This book is set in Guernsey which is where I was born and where I live. Which I think is actually quite cool. However I didn't enjoy this book very much. It is about a girl named Catherine who pushes her Bestfriend off of a cliff after an argument. The build up to the incident is really boring. The book mentions the incident a lot earlier in the story before we actually find out how the whole thing happened. At the end of the story you find out that Catherine was writing a story for her mother. I think the concept is quite cool but the story itself was quite boring.

Next I read The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. This series consists of six books: City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, and City of Heavenly Fire. These books are absolutely amazing and they are definitely one of my favourite book series. Cassandra Clare's writing is absolutely amazing, and soon I am going to read The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. The Mortal Instruments is about Shadowhunters who are half human, half angel beings that kill demons. There are also Downworlders (vampires, werewolves, faeries and warlocks) who appear in the books. The main protagonist of the series is Clary Fray, who sees three Shadowhunters kill a demon when she is out at a club with her Bestfriend Simon. The main antagonist of the first three books is Valentine Morgenstern, and the main antagonist of the last three books is Sebastian Morgenstern. Normally people don't like the antagonists of books because they tend to be evil, however I actually love the antagonists of this series. I also ship Clace (Clary + Jace) and Male (Magnus + Alec) so much. I absolutely love this series. This series has made me want to read more of her books and I will read more starting with the Infernal Devices Trilogy. I also cried at least three times at the end of City of Heavenly Fire.

The next book that I read was Taylor Lautner  A-Z by Sarah Oliver. This is an A-Z biography of Taylor Lautner's life. I bought this book when I was absolutely obsessed with Taylor Lautner. I still love him but I am not as obsessed with him as I used to be. This book was interesting and I liked learning more about his life.

The next book that I read was Prom Nights From Hell. This book is a collection of 5 short stories about paranormal Prom nights. This book was really good and there was only one story that I didn't enjoy. The stories are: The Exterminator's Daughter by Meg Cabot, The Corsage by Lauren Myracle, Madison Avery and the Dim Reaper by Kim Harrison, Kiss and Tell by Michele Jaffe and Hell on Earth by Stephenie Meyer.

The next book that I read , I actually finished in an hour. It was Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: Our Story. It is a short biography about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I loved learning more about their life because I love Mary- Kate and Ashley. It was really interesting.

The final book that I read in March was Stephenie Meyer : Queen of Twilight biography by Chas Newkey Burden. Stephenie Meyer is one of my favourite authors ever, so I loved reading this biography about her. I loved learning more about her life and it was just an amazing biography.

That concludes this wrap up post. If anyone is reading this I hope you enjoy it.

On Fire: A Teen Wolf Novel Book Review

Image result for on fire a teen wolf novel

I absolutely love reading, and I own lots of books. I hadn't read a book in ages, but at the start of this year I started to get back into reading. And over the past two months I have read about 7 books. So I thought that I would start doing book reviews on the books that I read. So today I am starting with a book review on the book On Fire: A Teen Wolf Novel. So lets get started. I apologise if this review kind of sucks, I am not very good at reviews but this is a post that I really want to start writing more.

On Fire: A Teen Wolf Novel

Author: Nancy Holder

Genre: Young Adult

Based on MTV's hit TV show Teen Wolf.

In Beacon Hills a mountain lion is blamed for a spate of vicious attacks; Scott McCall wishes the cause was that simple. Unfortunately hiding his werewolf identity, especially from Allison Argent while fighting his need to shift is only one problem.

Keeping his mysterious murderous, Alpha off his back (literally), avoiding hunters, deciphering strange dreams about flames and impending doom... is really eating into lacrosse practice and hang out time.

When Jackson Whittemore doesn't show for his date with Lydia, Scott hopes that helping Allison track down their buddy will be simple.

Derek whose hunger for vengeance blinds him to the dangers that lie in wait and Stiles are also looking but the worried teens search is leading right to the preserve from Scott's nightmare.

They aren't the only ones in the woods, and their little trip starts looking less like a rescue mission and more like an elaborate trap. One that will force them to make the choice between killing and being killed.

I absolutely loved the TV show, so when I found out that there was a book based on the show, I knew I had to get it and read it. And I am glad that I did because it was a really good book. This book is an essential for fans of the show.

The books only has 19 chapters which is OK but I wish there was more chapters as I loved this book so much.

The storyline kept me intrigued and I literally could not put the book down. It was that good.

If you are a fan of Teen Wolf and haven't read this book then I recommend that you do, because it is amazing.

I hope that Nancy Holder will write another Teen Wolf book as this was so good.

I give this book a 10/10.

February Favourites 2015

As you can tell by the title, this is my February favourites post. I know a lot of people will say this but, I literally cannot believed that February is over already. I won't be doing a worst of post this month because there is nothing that u have been hating this month, apart from college. Anyway here are my February favourites.

The first thing that I have been loving is a foundation. It is the Rimmel Lasting First finish 25h foundation with comfort serum. Apparently this is supposed to be a full coverage foundation. I have never owned a full coverage foundation so I don't really know what to expect. But I reckon that this foundation has pretty good coverage. Anyway it is a gods foundation and I love it.

The second thing that I have been loving is an album. The album is Sempiternal by Bring Me The Horizon. It is an amazing album and I love it. I have been listening to it a lot and some days I even listened to it about four times a day.

The next thing that I have been loving is a set. It is the Soap & Glory Orangeasm set. The set consists of the Orangeasm body butter, Orangeasm body wash and the Super Tonic fragrance. I love all three products they are amazing and they smell absolutely amazing.

The last thing that I have been loving in February is books. There are 6 books that I have read this month. The first book I started at the very end of January and  finished at the very start of February but I thought I would include it in this post. The book is called On Fire, and it is a Teen Wolf novel based on the TV show Teen Wolf. The book is amazing and I enjoyed reading it. The next 4 books are the Maze Runner series. They are called The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure and The Kill Order. The Kill Order is actually a prequel to the Maze Runner trilogy. I didn't enjoy the prequel as much as the other 3 books but it was still a good book and I enjoyed all 4 of these books. The last book that I read this month is The Hunger Games. I enjoyed this book too and I can't wait to read Catching Fire and Mockingjay.

So that concludes my February favourites post. I hope you enjoyed this post.
